arXiv:2604.27000v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Modern software systems are increasingly developed within rapid continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, where ensuring security prior to release presents significant technical and organizational challenges. Traditional static and dynamic analysis tools provide valuable structural and behavioral insights, yet they often operate in non-adaptive workflows and produce large volumes of warnings requiring manual triage. Feedback-driven fuzzing and search-based testing approaches have demonstrated the power of iterative input refinement guided by execution signals, while large language models (LLMs) have shown promise in automated test generation but frequently lack semantic grounding in program structure. This paper presents a systematic survey of adaptive and AI-augmented security testing research across five domains: (1) structural program analysis for vulnerability detection, (2) DevSecOps and continuous security testing,

LG Energy Solution said Thursday it swung to a net loss in the first quarter from a year earlier, as weakening global demand for electric vehicle (EV) batteries weighed on earnings. For the first three months of this year, the company shifted to a net loss of 944 billion won ($635.8 million) from a net profit of 227 billion won a year ago. "Lower sales of EV batteries to key customers and higher costs associated with the initial ramp-up of an energy storage system (ESS) plant in the United States weighed on quarterly performance," a company official said. It also shifted to an operating loss of 207.8 billion won from an operating profit of 374.7 billion won over the cited period. Sales fell 2.5 percent to 6.55 trillion won from 6.72 trillion won.

LG Energy Solution is likely to supply BMW with its 46-series cylindrical batteries, a deal that would mark a potential first-time partnership to power the German carmaker’s pure electric vehicles. According to the battery industry on Thursday, the two sides are in the final stages of negotiating a contract estimated to be worth around 10 trillion won ($7.2 billion), with a supply period expected to span about 10 years. If finalized, the agreement would expand LG Energy Solution’s client base for the 46-millimeter-diameter cylindrical battery format, a technology widely seen as key for next-generation electric vehicles. The company has already secured supply agreements for the 46-series batteries with several global EV manufacturers, including Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Rivian, Chery Automobile and Aptera. However, an LG Energy Solution official declined to confirm the reported BMW contract, saying, “We cannot comment on matters related to specific customers.” The potential deal comes as

HONG KONG — Electric vehicles (EVs) made in China now account for one in every three new EV registrations in Korea, as Tesla’s Shanghai-built models power the surge and Chinese carmakers start to gain traction. Chinese auto manufacturers have further room to expand, analysts said, supported by higher fuel prices linked to the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran and looser restrictions than traditional target markets. Still, they cautioned that tightening subsidy regimes could slow the pace of expansion. Sales of China-made EVs in Korea soared to 25,000 units in the first quarter of 2026, marking a 286.1 percent increase from a year earlier, according to data from the Korea Automobile and Mobility Association. Over the same period, Korean carmakers sold around 51,000 units, but grew at a much slower pace of 126.1 percent. The market share of EVs manufactured in China surged from 4.7 percent in 2022 to 33.9 percent last year, while that of Korean EVs fell from 75 percent to 57.2 percent, according

arXiv:2604.25120v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: We study clinical trial table reasoning, where answers are not directly stored in visible cells but must be reasoned from semantic understanding through normalization, classification, extraction, or lightweight domain reasoning. Motivated by the observation that current LLM approaches often suffer from "bad reasoning" under implicit planning assumptions, we focus on settings in which the model must recover implicit attributes such as therapy type, added agents, endpoint roles, or follow-up status from partially observed clinical-trial tables. We propose SCOPE (Structured Clinical hybrid Planning for Evidence retrieval in clinical trials), a multi-LLM planner-based framework that decomposes the task into row selection, structured planning, and execution. The planner makes the source field, reasoning rules, and output constraints explicit before answer generation, reducing ambiguity relative to direct prompting. We evaluate SCOPE on 1,500

Hyundai Motor Group said Tuesday that it will begin a pilot program letting customers pay separately for electric vehicle (EV) batteries rather than buying them with the car, an effort to reduce the upfront cost of owning an EV. Hyundai Motor and Hyundai Capital will jointly run the pilot in the first half of this year, targeting corporate taxi operators whose battery warranties have expired. The program is made possible by a special regulatory exemption approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in November, allowing electric vehicle bodies and batteries to be registered under separate ownership for the first time. Under current vehicle regulations, batteries cannot be registered or managed separately from the vehicle. That has been cited as a drag on EV demand, since battery degradation can reduce resale values and leave owners responsible for costly replacements. The pilot program will cover five Ioniq 5 fleet taxis operating in the Seoul metropolitan area.
arXiv:2604.24606v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Reverse parking maneuvering of a vehicle with trailer system is a difficult task to complete for human drivers due to the multi-body nature of the system and the unintuitive controls required to orientate the trailer properly. The problem is complicated with the presence of other vehicles that the trailer and its connected vehicle must avoid during the reverse parking maneuver. While path planning methods in reverse motion for vehicles with trailers exist, there is a lack of results that also offer collision avoidance as part of the algorithm. This paper hence proposes a modified Hybrid A*-based algorithm that can accommodate the vehicle-trailer system as well as collision avoidance considerations with the other vehicles and obstacles in the parking environment. One of the novelties of this proposed approach is its adaptability to the vehicle with trailer system, where limits of usable steering input that prevent the occurrence of
Samsung SDI on Tuesday reported a first-quarter operating loss of 155.6 billion won ($115.3 million) and revenue of 3.58 trillion won, as it sharply narrowed losses and returned to net profit. The company said revenue rose 12.6 percent year-on-year, while operating loss contracted 64.2 percent. Net profit came to 56.1 billion won, marking a return to profitability. By segment, the battery business generated 3.35 trillion won in revenue and posted an operating loss of 176.6 billion won, while the electronic materials business recorded 222 billion won in revenue and an operating profit of 21 billion won. Samsung SDI said battery performance improved as demand recovered across key applications, including energy storage systems (ESS), uninterruptible power supply (UPS), battery backup units (BBU) and power tools. Revenue rose 12.5 percent year-on-year, while losses narrowed by more than 61 percent. The improvement was driven in part by increased Advanced Manufacturing Production Credit
